🕊️ Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Silvermines.
✨ Our Story
Our Lady of Lourdes Church was built in the 1970s to serve the growing parish of Silvermines. Its cruciform design, stained-glass windows, and belfry make it a distinctive landmark in the village. The church is dedicated to Our Lady of Lourdes, inspired by the Marian apparitions in Lourdes, France, and holds a special place in the Killaloe Diocese as one of only two churches named after St. Bernadette.
Over the decades, the church has been a gathering place for baptisms, weddings, funerals, and countless parish celebrations — a living witness to the faith and resilience of the Silvermines community.
